We sat down with Jeff and gained his insight into how Live Oak has maintained its growth and why the partnership with Multiquip continues to elevate their business.
MQ: What is the importance of Live Oak’s partnership with Multiquip?
JF: I would have to say what sets Multiquip apart from other manufacturers is their network of service, that's really important. Dealing with a manufacturer that has people who can help us with training, product knowledge, and service; and offer training not just for our salespeople but for mechanics too.
Bobby Hughes, a Live Oak team member, reinforced this by sharing: “I think Multiquip is bar-none the best as far as providing resources and figuring out problems. They really emphasize being in the position to take care of not only their ASC (Authorized Service Centers) but their customers as well. I deal with multiple manufacturers in this industry, but [Multiquip has] actually invested in being a part of producing an efficient way of figuring out problems for their dealers and their customers.”
MQ: What sets Live Oak apart from other construction supply companies?
JF: We pride ourselves on customer service. We pride ourselves on having available products. Having the things people need when they need it is important. Labor is very expensive so you can't slow jobs down out there. Being there for our customers when they need us, that's what we're all about.
MQ: What has been the benefit of having MQ ServicePlus available for Live Oak?
JF: Having the field service people with Multiquip available to come help us is tremendous. I mean, we couldn't do it without them and we know we can count on them. We count on them because our customers count on us. We believe in not just selling equipment but keeping people running and working with our equipment.
